This is a very old pepper that has been grown in Macedonia for 100+ years, but relatively new to the rest of the world. The pepper ripens from green to red and is relatively long between 20-25 cm. The meaning of the word "thin" in Macedonian is "engraved". The name refers to the strange lines on the skins of the peppers The pointed ones. You can see the fruits, which range from mild to sometimes very spicy, the peppers are dried in the sun and the taste is sweet and slightly nutty. You can eat it green or fresh red.
