Habanero lemonade
A spicy drink for a hot summer day!
Ingredients:

3 liters of water

Juice from 10 lemons

2-3 yellow habanero peppers, remove seeds and cut into slices

3-4 tablespoons of sugar

For serving: Ice, sliced lemon and washed mint leaves
Preparation:

Pour 2 cups of water (out of the 3 liters) into a pot, add the sugar and bring to a boil.

Add the habanero peppers slices and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes.

Remove the pot from the stove.

Remove the habanero slices from the water.

Transfer the spicy sugar water to a large jug, add the remaining water, the lemon juice and stir well.

Refrigerate for at least an hour.

Serve in tall glasses, with ice, a slice of lemon and mint leaves.

We recommend removing the habanero slices from the lemonade.
