Tamar's Spicy pickled cucumbers


  • Cucumbers as many as fit in a jar

  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon of salt

  • 1-2 glasses of water

  • Dill

  • Head of garlic cut crosswise (no need to peel)

  • Any chilli peppers you want, super hot is also possible


  • Cut off the ends of the cucumbers and arrange them in a glass jar that closes well. Insert the chilli peppers.

  • Boil water in a ratio of 1 flat teaspoon of salt to a glass of water.

  • Cover the cucumbers and peppers with dill.

  • Pour the boiling water over the dill-covered cucumbers and peppers, up to the rim.

  • Close and wait patiently for a few days. Two or three days in the summer, more in the winter.
